Which iPod Is Right For You?

There are so many different kinds of iPods that are available these days. And it's very hard to figure out which iPod you want to have for possibly the next few years, so you want to make the right decision on what type, model and seller to choose from. To help with your decision on which type of iPod to buy, I have arranged a list with many details on the four major types of iPods that are available today; the iPod Shuffle, the iPod Nano, the iPod Classic, and the iPod Touch . In the list I will describe several aspects of the iPod including size, color, ease of use, battery life, capabilities, memory size, and much more. So without any more delays, lets get started!

iPod Shuffle

The iPod Shuffle is very small, smaller than a regular house key, but can hold up to 1,000 songs, which is amazing. It comes in 5 different colors, silver, black, blue, gree, and pink and only costs about $59 for the 2 Gigabyte model. The iPod Shuffle is a great device for people who just want to listen to music easily and without any hassle. If you are a jogger, cyclist, or someone who works out frequently, this iPod would be perfect for you because it is very small and portable and has a clip on the back of it so you can clip it to your clothing and listen to music hands free. Another this that is great about the Shuffle is that it has a voice system that talks to you through your headphones and tells you which song and artist are playing.

iPod Nano

The iPod Nano is one of the most popular iPods and for many good reasons. It is small and portable like the Shuffle, but it comes in larger sizes, plays music and videos, and even shoots video! It also comes in an assortment of colors from black and silver, to green and blue, and is fairly inexpensive with the base price being $149. The Nano is best for people who want a small little iPod to listen to music to, but also wants the capability to watch videos on it as well.

iPod Classic

The iPod Classic is a medium sized iPod that has HUGE memory capabilities, up to 160 GB! It is a little bit larger than most phones, but can hold up to 40,000 songs, 200 hours of video, or 25,000 photos! It is a little pricey, the starting price is $249, so I don't recommend you buy the Classic if you don't have a lot of songs, videos, or photos in your iTunes Library because you'll just be holding empty space in your iPod for no reason. There are less colors available compared to the Nano and Shuffle, as the Classic can only be black or a silverish-white.

iPod Touch
Last, but definitely not least, the iPod Touch. This iPod has the most features out of all the other iPods and is arguably the most popular too. Its length and width are about the same as the Classic, but it is much, much slimmer and has a 3 inch screen that is great for watching videos on. The most unique thing about the iPod Touch are the apps you can have on it. There are thousands of game, utility, entertainment, and research apps in the App Store that you can download right onto the iTouch and have anywhere you go in the palm of your hand.It also has Wi-Fi capabilities so you can surf the internet wherever there is a wi-fi signal. The iPod Touch is about $199 for the smallest model which holds 8 GB of media. It may seem a little expensive, but it is totally worth it. I've had my iPod Touch for over 2 years now and I still love it as much as I did the day I recieved it.
